As colleges and universities renew their commitment to the public good and their institutional stewardship for surrounding communities, they may discover that they share community partnerships with neighboring institutions of higher education. Their institutional missions, faculty research and teaching interests, and student leadership core may align to enhance their community’s quality of life. This workshop will identify promising practices and resources for forming regional networks that support service-learning, volunteerism and civic engagement.
